Use Hookly from Claude

Connect your Hookly account to Claude and run the whole app by chatting: paste ad links to import, ask for a remix with your subject and product, review the results and render the winners. Claude works on your own account, with your credits, and asks before it spends any.

claude.ai and Claude Desktop

1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
2. Name it Hookly, paste the server URL above and click Add.
3. Click Connect. A Hookly tab opens: sign in with Google, like on the website, check the account it shows and click Allow. You're sent back to Claude.
4. In a chat, make sure Hookly is switched on in the tools menu, then just ask.

On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an owner may need to add the connector for the organization first (Admin settings → Connectors). After that, each person connects their own Hookly account.

Claude Code

Add the server from your terminal:

Then start Claude Code, type /mcp, pick hookly and choose Authenticate. Your browser opens the same Google sign-in and Allow page.

Things to ask

• “Import these three ads and tell me which shots are best to recreate.”
• “Make a subject: woman in her late 20s, curly hair, casual home outfit.”
• “Recreate shot 2 of the last ad with my subject holding my serum. Preview it first.”
• “Show me the remixes waiting for review and approve the ones that match the original.”
• “Rebuild the whole video with my product and render it at 720p.”

Credits and safety

• Claude uses the same prices as the app. Before a paid run it previews the exact cost for free and asks you to go ahead.
• Failed runs are refunded, just like in the app.
• Everything Claude makes shows up in the app too, so you can switch between the two at any time.
• Links Claude gives you open in a browser where you're signed in to Hookly.

Disconnecting

Remove the Hookly connector in Claude's settings (or run claude mcp remove hookly in Claude Code). If Claude stops being able to reach your account, which happens after about two months without use, click Connect again and sign in.

Trouble connecting?

• Sign in with the same Google account you use for Hookly. If you don't have an account yet, create one first.
• If the sign-in tab doesn't open, allow pop-ups for claude.ai and try Connect again.
• Check that the URL ends in /mcp, with nothing after it.
